Getting to the Celebrity Summit
Rhode Island to Cape Liberty Cruise Port, Bayonne, NJ

It could not have been easier! Our Bags, packed and in the trunk, and island music playing in the car and after just a few hours of driving from home in Rhode Island we began the most amazing vacation ever…a romantic anniversary cruise to Bermuda aboard Celebrity’s Summit.

Travelling by car to the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, is, in my opinion, just so much easier than flying, you don’t have to worry about where your liquids are and no waiting in long TSA lines! The port is a former Navy Base/MOTBY facility is just minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and Manhattan.  The cruise terminal is brand new, built to handle cruise guests year round.

As you approach the unloading area, there are plenty of folks to guide and direct you. Make sure that you have your luggage tagged with the special tags your Cruise Brothers agent has provided you before the porters take them. This will ensure that they will arrive outside your stateroom in a timely manner.

Once the porters took our bags, we were directed to the brand new parking garage.  Safe and secure parking, conveniently located right next to the cruise terminal. It’s affordable too at only $20 dollars a day.  From there it’s just a few steps to the terminal and the check-in stations.
