Babette became hooked on travel when she was 7 after she was given her first destination book, “This is
London”. Wanting more, she received “This is Rome” and “This is Paris”. The following year, Santa brought her a world globe so she could track all the places she’d been and where she wanted to go. With her father, a career Navy officer, the family traveled all the time.
Now a seasoned traveler, Babette has over 30 years in the travel industry. She has been on over 200 cruises and traveled to all six continents. Her knowledge of the cruise lines and all the destinations are second to none.
Her most magical travel moment? Sailing into Venice on a cruise ship. The ship offering a unique vantage point as it glided by the grand canal past Renaissance and Gothic palaces. Seeing The central square, Piazza San Marco, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Campanile bell tower from the deck of the ship took her breath away.
