No travel experience is ever the same and this time, I'm diving into the pristine beauty of an extraordinary sea voyage that's been on my bucket list for quite a while. Today, I finally celebrate the successful booking of my back-to-back cruise—two subsequent voyages on the magnificently vast open sea.
September will entail stepping into distinct, enthralling territory, both literally and metaphorically. I'm about to charter into oceanic routes I've never cruised before. The exciting prospect of setting sail from the historic city of Boston, USA to the charming city of Quebec, Canada on a back-to-back itinerary is my perfect vision of purposeful exploration.
This cruise is not just about the fascinating geography of the destinations; it's about gifting myself the space to breathe, reflect and embrace new experiences under the serene expanse of the open sea.
The journey weaves through the cobblestone-laden charm of Quebec City to the captivating rugged coastline of Bar Harbor, bridging old-world elegance and natural splendor. I eagerly anticipate the visits to Halifax and Charlottetown—places I have until now only ventured through the pages of travel novels.
The tranquility of early fall in New England and Canada paints a quiet kind of magic. The once buzzing summer crowds have dispersed, replaced by crisp air and landscapes commencing their slow transition into shades of autumn. It's time to revel in unhurried exploration.
This cruise is garnished with numerous firsts—the premier experience in this region and my inaugural time cruising back-to-back—and I'm here for every thrilling minute of it.
Stay tuned as I share my journey, posting as I cruise along the beautiful landscapes that lay ahead.
Setting sail soon.... June
