So I just thought I would try something new that I loved doing. I do all the planning for trips for Gary and I, and some for the family trips. So I thought, why not get paid to do what I love doing. So here I am, a new travel agent trying to expand and make it as my home business.
Why? I love to travel and love planning activities and sightseeing. Going new places and seeing and learning new things. In our travels so far, my favorite place in the states is Galveston, TX. The sights around Galveston are very cool, lots to learn at NASA and Moody Gardens is one of the best aquariums I have seen yet. My favorite other country would be Roatan, Honduras; the people are friendly and the sights are so cool. As a floral designer by trade, the vegetation is so unique and beyond beautiful to see up close. The wildlife is awesome and holding, touching and swimming with the wildlife is by far the coolest thing I have ever done.
How did I get here? Well, long story short is that I am tired of working all weekend, or doing an 8-hour shift and not getting off on time but working 1-2 extra hours without being asked and just assumed I would work. I am a floral designer and still work part-time in that field so I can get out of the house. I am getting old, not sure how that happened, but I just can’t be on my feet that long. So I have been looking for something to do from home for a while now. We went on a cruise in October and met an awesome woman who is a travel agent. I knew it right away and she and I have become friends since. I asked so many questions and she willingly answered them all. When I hear her voice on the other end of the phone, she makes me laugh because she is as crazy as I am.
